Ashfall on your rooftop?

Ashfall on your rooftop?

Hi, .

Before you post one more Taal Volcano-related fake news and information from an uncredited source, I’d like to introduce you to the people I know:

1. Shawi Cortez, the founder of Forest School Philippines, had to vacate her family to Quezon City last night. Her family lives in Tagaytay.2. Joanne Guitchie, one of my Light Group sisters, asked for prayers because her family is experiencing tremors in Alfonso.3. Jacquelin Domdom, a college classmate, who lives in Malvar, Batangas, is with her family and is safe. But they do not know for how long.4. EJ dela Cruz, another college classmate, lives near the Australia bushfires, yet is worried about the relatives back here.

These are real people just like you.

People like them could be reading fake news or misinformation that could affect their decision during this time of crisis.

Verify your sources. I am a social media manager. But I will be the one to tell you that not all you see in social media is true.

Taal Volcano, historically, is the second most active volcano in the Philippines. There are recorded disastrous eruptions since 1572. Our national geologists monitors Taal.

Crisis and challenges bring out the best in us. Yet it also shows our worst.

It is up to you which side you’d be on.

Since you are at home at this time, why don’t you pray? It would do you, my friends, and other people, good. For insensitive jokes, Mitch Miller told me, "It's not a bad thing, it's how people deal."

You’re exceptional,
