Ce Mercado used to be an OFW sa Middle East.

Ang pagkakaiba lang, isa s'ya sa masuswerteng OFWs na kasama ang asawa at anak sa ibang bansa. So anyway, sabi ni Ce, naaaliw s'yang makinig sa The Joy and Ann Show (it's the first podcast that I did with blogger and author Joy Collado).When she first reached out to us, she said she wants to become a virtual professional.Noong tinanong ko kung bakit, ang sabi n'ya, para mapantayan ang sweldo n'ya sa current work at makauwi na silang pamilya sa Pilipinas.Sabi ko, "What for? Complete family naman kayo di ba?"Ce said, "Pero honestly, iba pa din kapag nasa sariling bansa ka di ba?"And one thing, naa-amuse daw s'ya sa podcast kasi tawa daw ako ng tawa tapos si Joy ang tahimik. Pero hindi lang 'yun.Nag-research s'ya. Ano ba ang podcast?Slowly but surely, she learned how to become a podcast virtual professional.She came back to us when she got her first client as a podcast VP. She was thanking us for opening her mind on possibilities.Joy and I were like, "Hala, ano ba'ng ginawa natin? Eh gumawa lang naman tayo ng podcast?"But deep down we know that Ce did something better than listening to a podcast.

She found a way to learn the skill so she could serve podcasters.
