How Not To Suffer Content Blockout
Stop overwhelm and fear. Focus on working on your goals step-by-step. - Ann Penaredondo
Few moons ago…
Your humble narrator suffered from content blockout.
I build a handful of websites that dies from natural death.
Death comes from not having a single post on it, and then I forget it.
Some have a few post, a mediocre logo, and a bunch of plugins that do more bad than good.
Another site I build did great, but I lost some steam of motivation to continue because I really don’t know how to create content and the right mindset on how to approach content marketing.
Heck,
I did not quit thinking about how to create content.
I studied. A LOT.
After two years of grueling pain parallel to my studies. I think I’m confident to say now I have a grip on how to create content that rocks the reader's mind.
Yes, there is a saying…
“You cannot give what you don’t have.”
So you know what I did?
I read a lot.
From cooking, copywriting, mindset and persuasion, novels, magazines, magalogs, and courses from different people even with the same topic.
I even watch movies and then read the book of that after.
It’s tough, nerve breaking, and crazy activity.
But I guess it’s a must for me.
In fact, I still continue to do those activities every day and dedicating the first hour of the day to improve myself.
The only difference was, I enjoyed it more.
I guess it’s more of a habit now than a task.
Okay…
If you’re looking for great content to read.
Ann Teache’s how to start small activities to accomplish a big goal on page 2 - 5 of her book.
You can even finish it in one sitting…faster than your coffee to get cold.
