Chasing clients like you chase your ex

Imagine you’re chasing your ex who dumped you…humiliate you…and reject you.

What do you think he will do? 

Well…if you’ve watched the Movie “One more chance” by Popoy and Basya (with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo).

That movie completely illustrate this point.

The needy popoy, who are afraid to take risk in life, who always calculate he’s moves, always saving money for the future, always removing the unhealthy chicken skin because of cholesterol, always texting and calling Basya, always telling Basya what to do - what’s good, what’s bad. Giving away everything his precious time, money. 

And even better giving his lifetime.

The result: Iniwan parin siya.

He even chase basya time and time again after the break-up and gets rejected even more.

The lonely Popoy thinking there’s something wrong with him ask himself?

“Bakit ayaw niya na akong kausapin?”

He even said to his friend while outside of a restaurant shouting with heavy rains pouring…

“Tingin mo pare pag nag pakamatay ako, papansinin ako ni Basya, tingin mo pag nag kasakit ako pupuntahan niya ako?

But his friend said…

No. (Then he punched him in the face) 

So what does this mean to you?

Well...that works the same as chasing clients to hire you.

That needy Popoy attitude will not work in to the real world of getting clients.

Because the more you chase them, the more power they will have.

And when it happens…

You lose the end of the negotiation.

What you have to do is watch how Popoy bring back his power again.

And that thing takes time to understand…because it requires critical thinking…and soul searching.
