Ano ang ipino-protesta mo ngayon?
Ano ang ipino-protesta mo ngayon, *|FNAME|* ?
Hello, .Today was declared as a National Day of Protest. According to the President, this is the day given to all those who want to express their right to speak about their “complains”.
I overheard on the radio a commentator who asked the listeners this question: “Ano ang ipino-protesta mo ngayon?”
I heard varying answers, from serious to amusing.
Let me also ask you the same question: ANO ANG IPINO-PROTESTA MO NGAYON?
I did not mean political or national concern on my question.
Take a look at where you are right now.
Employee ka ba? Ipino-protesta mo ba ang maliit na sweldo at 12 to 14 hours work a day?
Let me add another follow up question: SA MGA IPINO-PROTESTA MO, ANO ANG GINAGAWA MONG SOLUSYON?
Speaking out for what you believe in or what you want is one thing. ACTING ON IT is another story.
WHY AM I MAKING YOU THINK OF THESE?
Those answers that I heard from the radio today? Unfortunately, you don’t have much control on that. There is a process to undergo or someone that you need to talk to before it is solved. (Well, for the wife, you should have taken the time to get to know the wife before you got married. But you can still control that. Date her every week.)
Hep hep hep, don’t get me wrong. I am not asking you to be indifferent to this country. I am not asking you not to believe that there is hope for this nation either. We unseated two presidents already because we decided to be united and screamed “ENOUGH!”
If you cannot change yourself, don’t expect the nation to change, either.
And for now, you are better off reserving your energy on things that you can change.
What do you have control of? YOUR SITUATION.
So here’s what I want you to do: LIST DOWN what you are protesting at. No deleting, no revising of the list. Do it for five minutes.
Once five minutes is up, review your list. What things on your list do you have control of? Put a check mark beside each item.
Then, get another sheet of paper. Take out one of the items on the list which you have control of. Write it on top. Then below each item, list down the solutions that you can do. I suggest you put a date on each solution.
Do this activity and you’ll thank me later.
Because if you do this, you just got yourself a step further to what everyone wants: FREEDOM.
Send me a REPLY of your list realizations, yes?
Stay Exceptional,
Ann Kristine
P.S.: Two years ago, I spoke in a packed virtual professionals summit. I talked about my protests in life and what I did to achieve FREEDOM. The same summit is happening on October 14, 2017. I invite you to get yourself a seat and have a DATE WITH FREEDOM.
This summit will not only make you meet many virtual professionals, it’s going to make you stop protesting and starting acting. I should know; I know a lot of employees and OFWs who attended the summit and are now virtual professionals.
If you register, I am giving you my Small is BIG e-book and a one-hour WEBINAR (scheduled one week after the Date With Freedom Summit) for FREE.
O, no-brainer na 'yan. Mag-register ka na.
P.S. 2: Listing down your protests PLUS solutions would do you good than checking out the news on who protested on the streets and where. Honestly, the latter won’t matter tomorrow.
