Are you stuck?

I overheard child genius and photographer Shaira Luna when I passed by our TV. (I’m no longer a subscriber of our couch. That is another story.)

We all know her the one of the gifted children in a milk commercial two decades ago.

During the interview, she said she struggled on what she wanted to pursue in life.

We all say, “She’s a genius. She can excel in whatever endeavor she wants to go to.”

Exactly. That’s what she said. And more.

She remarked, “It is not about where could I excel at. It’s about how do I feel about it.”

Para sa isang genius na katulad n’ya, kahit ano puwede s’yang maging magaling. Pero magiging masaya ba s’ya?

Ikaw, kumusta ang paga-aral mo ng online skills? Nao-overwhelm ka na ba?

Kahit ano’ng skill kaya mong pag-aralan. Pero ang tanong: magiging masaya ka ba?

You may tell me, “Eh dito sa [put your skill here] may pera eh.”

But money can only take you somewhere. Paano kapag meron na namang “next big thing” online? Doon ka ulit pupunta?

I learned that I love social media when I was already doing it for a client. I’m still here until now.

Kahit maraming nagsasabing “Facebook is dead” or “organic reach is no longer good”, "Facebook Zero!", yada yada yada, naniniwala pa rin akong maraming businesses pa rin ang hindi marunong gumamit ng social media.
