Do you sometimes feel that your goals are as far as the moon?
Hi ,
I watched the First Man recently.
If you aren't familiar with the movie, it is the biographical drama of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon.
There is a scene in the movie where Neil (played by Ryan Gosling) is testing a lunar training vehicle (LTV) in an open area. Then something went wrong with the LTV.
If Neil didn't eject himself from the vehicle, he would have been injured, if not dead, just like his colleagues.
The YouTube video wasn't able to capture it. But after finding himself on the ground, Neil looked up in the sky.
He saw the moon.
After countless trial and errors, the moon still feels so far.
On that same scene, I felt like the moon and my goals are in the same location. Both are too far.
Don't get me wrong. I am thankful for the goals I achieved in the last few years. I am on my fifth year working as a virtual professional full time. I couldn't imagine how I was able to keep up with myself.
But just like you, I still have dreams that I feel are too unattainable, unreachable, and sometimes impossible. Case in point for the word "impossible" is to marry Tom Hiddleston.
Yet just like Neil in the movie, I know I would never stop going for my goals. I would need to adjust my time and drop old habits and replace them with better ones.
Trial and error. And be patient in the process.
I know I don't email you much. It's a crime. But I want to hear from you. Would you send me a REPLY about how you feel about your goals?
What are your goals at least before this year ends? What have you achieved so far?Do you feel that your goals are too unattainable, unreachable, and sometimes impossible? Why yes? Why no?
I know it's going to take you a few minutes to think about the answers to these questions. I want you to know this: I would be reading your response, just like what I did before.
Your response would mean you still want to listen to my mundane musings.
But if you think that what I do no longer helps you, please feel free to unsubscribe. No hard feelings.
You’re exceptional,
